TIME LIMITS
Home
Its a fact of life. Connectivity costs. So that we may continue to offer FREE,
high quality internet service - without
an annoying "floating" ad-banner and minimizing busy
signals - we must prevent usage abuse. Free
wwweb has monitored national connectivity
trends and formulated a plan which serves the needs of 99.5% of individual
Internet users. This incorporates three simple time limits for our
internet accounts.
(Please note that the national average of connect time for an individual
Internet account is only 23 hours per month.)
Freewwweb
Time Limits:
* 80 total hours per calendar month per registered account.
That's more than 3 times the national average.
(Helpful hint: There is no limit to the number of accounts you can have
so if you need more time just register additional accounts!)
* 5 hours continuous use.
We've all experienced "net trance" on occasion, so
this serves only as a friendly reminder. However, you can immediately
re-connect.
* 15 minutes of inactivity.
If you've "fallen asleep at the wheel" or walked
away and forgotten your connection was open, we'd prefer that a present or fully
awake subscriber was using the port. This will assist you in preserving
your monthly usage hours and it helps prevent busy signals when you
want to dial in.
Freewwweb
Internet service is not meant to be a full-time, 24/7 dedicated connection.
Should your usage exceed 80 hours in a calendar month, your account will be
suspended until the beginning of the next calendar month.
If you anticipate your usage will be high (work issues,
many family members, etc.), why not have each member of your household or office
sign up for their own account? After all, additional Free
wwweb accounts cost nothing, nada, zero, zilch, nil!
